Renee Tidwell, currently Director of Corporate Services at SVMIC, has spent many years with the company in a variety of roles. Renee’s current position allows her the unique perspective that comes from working closely with all departments within the company, as well as overseeing customer service to policyholders and working directly with our Board and Committee members. She spends a good deal of her time learning the intricacies of keeping the business running smoothly through working and overseeing many of SVMIC’s company-wide processes. Her venture into podcast hosting allows Renee to experience life through the lens of our listeners where she can bring her company expertise and natural curiosity to her conversations with our wide variety of guests.
Erika Roberts is a Claims Attorney at SVMIC. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Prior to joining SVMIC, Erika worked for the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Tennessee Court of Appeals and in private practice defending, in part, physicians and other medical providers in healthcare liability claims. Erika joined SVMIC in 2023.
J. Baugh is a Senior Claims Attorney for SVMIC. Mr. Baugh graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and from the Nashville School of Law with a J.D. degree. He is currently licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant and as an Attorney in the State of Tennessee. He has been a member of the Claims Department of SVMIC since 2000.
