About our Guest

Dr. Elise Schriver

Dr. Elise Schriver is a pulmonologist in Knoxville, Tennessee and is affiliated with University of Tennessee Medical Center. She received her medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She is one of 42 doctors at University of Tennessee Medical Center who specialize in Pulmonology. Dr. Schriver joined UPCC (formerly Knoxville Pulmonary Group) in 1989. She enjoys all pulmonary patients and has a special interest in Pulmonary Hypertension and critical care medicine. Dr. Schriver has also served on the Executive Committee, Medical Staff Nominating Committee, Heart, Lung Vascular Steering Committee and the Critical Care Quality Improvement Committee. Dr. Schriver has recently developed the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic.

About our Host

Brian Fortenberry is Assistant Vice President of Underwriting at SVMIC where he assists in evaluating risk for the company and assisting policyholders with underwriting issues. He has been involved with medical professional liability insurance since 2007. Prior to his work at SVMIC, Brian worked in the clinical side of medicine and in broadcast media.
